About Me

I’m a young artist born and raised in The Bronx of New York City!

My first form of artistry started with my early years of dance training.

I trained at my first dance school, Broadway Dance Center,

starting at the age of 8 years old from 2009 through 2013. Shortly after,

I attended The Alvin Ailey Camp in the summer of 2013

at the age of 12 and jumped right into officially training at The Alvin Ailey

Studios that same year through 2019.Through all of those years, I have always strived

for success and have come to learn how broad my artistry and creativity

can fully take me. In May of 2022, I graduated with a bachelor’s

degree in digital journalism and a minor in

Business Management and Dance at Marymount Manhattan College.

So Yes! Writing is part of my future!

I’ve always had a complete love for modeling since I was very little.

I knew that I eventually wanted to star in the field at a very young age.

I started my modeling career at the age of 6 with my mother back

when she was also a working model, starting in the early 90s. My mom and

I were both featured in Soul Food Magazine’s 2007 spread. Since then,

my love and curiosity for modeling only grew stronger.

I had the amazing opportunity to work with various brands such as

Kat Von D, Clinique, Innisfree, Humphrey’s Witch Hazel, Makeup Forever, Instagram,

Tinder and so many more! In 2021, I had the chance to work with

M.A.C Cosmetics twice in the month of March and was featured in their

new Disney movie “Cruella” makeup Collection release.

I was also featured in the January 2022 magazine

spreads for Top Posters, MVibe, and Marika. In 2023, I was featured in

Rebel Magazine In one of their spreads on women empowerment and equality.

My dream is to become a top model in the industry someday

while also tapping into my creative aspects in becoming a

writer and an overall artist in the making. This is where the birth of this

blog shines through! Growing up in the creative scene, I have always been

so heavily inspired by artists such as Judith Jamison, Alvin Ailey himself,

Tahani Salah, and many others. I hope to inspire others as these figures have

and continue to grow as an upcoming individual.

I Create. I Model. I Love Food.

Modeling is a profession that I always knew I wanted

to fulfill in my prime. And yes! It’s super fun! I’ve met so many photographers,

stylists, directors, and models like myself that I grew to become good friends with.

However, it’s still a very complex and competitive world to become successful into.

There’s still so much I myself need to learn! I want to be able to share my knowledge

of the modeling industry on how to get started, finding the right agency, how

to freelance model, the pros and cons to becoming a model

and much more!

Why Did I Start Blogging?

I've always had a love for writing ever since I discovered my talent in high school! I graduated college in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Digital Journalism within Communications Arts and Media.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, I didn't get to do an internship that would have eventually gotten me an entry level position.... SO! I thought to myself "How can I create a way to discuss my passions/hobbies, use my writing skills, and make a living all at once?..."

I Always Ask Myself Questions Like....

Where do I see myself in 5 years?. . . . .

Where can this writing take me as a career?. . . . .

What do I want readers to take away from this?. . . . .

Do I see myself doing this full time?. . . .

How far can this take my writing skills?. . . . .

Do I truly portray happiness in this?. . . . .

What do I want to share about myself to the readers?. . . . .
